Consumer Confidence Survey

Consumer confidence has remained virtually unchanged over the past six months, according to the Greater Washington Board of Trade’s Mid-Year Consumer Confidence Survey. Since the last survey in November 2009, the Consumer Confidence Index rose only two points. Read More Download Report


Board of Trade Hosts “Welcome Back Nationals” Luncheon

Business executives from across the region welcomed the Washington Nationals back from spring training at a special luncheon hosted by the Greater Washington Board of Trade and sponsored by PNC Bank. The entire Washington Nationals baseball team greeted fans and signed autographs. Team President Stan Kasten, Team Manager Jim Riggleman, and Senior Vice President and General Manager Mike Rizzo participated in a panel discussion on the expectations, hopes and excitement for the 2010 season.
